2015: Caricaco was born as an academy and incubator, building community and accompanying hundreds of entrepreneurs in Central America.
2021: We transformed into an investor focused on driving startups and strengthening the venture capital ecosystem in the region.
2022: We made our first investments in 10 Costa Rican startups.
2023: We expanded our reach to all of Central America.
2024: We had our first exit, celebrated the first edition of Caricaco Summit, and reached 20 startups in our portfolio.
2025: We built the second edition of Caricaco Summit, relaunched the Academy across Central America, and surpassed 25 startups in our portfolio.
2026: We closed the Caricaco Summit trilogy, launched CV2, and we’re just getting started.
