In 2021, we took a decisive step by becoming active investors to back startups that not only aimed to grow, but also had the vision to improve the world \u2014 starting with the transformation of the economic and social reality of our region.<br\/> <br\/> Today, that journey has produced results that speak for themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>The impact of a shared vision<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the years, we\u2019ve had the privilege of supporting exceptional founders. We are not just increasing our capital \u2014 we are raising our ambition to firmly position our region on the global VC map.<br><br><strong>What does CV2 mean for the ecosystem?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We doubled our capital: We are looking for 15\u201316 new startups to invest in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We doubled our check sizes: We now invest starting at $200K USD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regional DNA Focus: We aim to be the first check for founders with ties to Central America and the Dominican Republic, no matter where they are building their global vision, specifically:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Founders of Central American origin building anywhere in the world.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Founders of any nationality with headquarters or a meaningful operation in Central America.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>We invest in teams, not just ideas<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our investment thesis remains true to what makes us different:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.
